Terms & Conditions — GymSilk
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of gymsilk.com and the purchase of products from GymSilk.
GymSilk is operated by Studio Evo Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. About Us
GymSilk is operated by:
Studio Evo Ltd
Company number: 16922985
Registered in England and Wales
Registered office:
71–75 Shelton Street
Covent Garden
London
United Kingdom

Website: gymsilk.com
Email: hello@gymsilk.com
Our registered office is for legal correspondence only and is not a returns address or customer service location.
2. These Terms
These Terms apply to purchases made through gymsilk.com.
They should be read together with our:
- Privacy Policy;
- Shipping Policy;
- Returns & Refunds Policy;
- Contact Information;
- any additional information displayed on the relevant product page or at checkout.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law, your statutory rights take priority.
3. Eligibility to Purchase
To place an order, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
If you are under the age of 18, you should only place an order with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when ordering is complete and accurate.
4. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to display product information accurately, including:
- product descriptions;
- colours;
- sizes;
- materials;
- photographs;
- availability;
- prices.
However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, device settings, lighting and photography.
Measurements and sizing information are provided as a guide and minor variations may occur.
Nothing in these Terms affects your rights where a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet applicable consumer law standards.
5. Prices
All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website or at checkout.
For the UK market, prices are generally displayed in GBP (£).
The total amount payable will be shown before you complete your order.
Delivery charges, where applicable, are displayed separately at checkout.
We reserve the right to change product prices at any time before an order is accepted.
Price changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted by us.
6. Pricing Errors
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting or dispatching an order, we may contact you to:
- confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price; or
- cancel the affected item or order and issue a refund.
We will not rely on this clause to avoid honouring a price simply because we later decide that the product should have been sold for more.
7. Placing an Order
When placing an order, you will be asked to provide the information necessary to process and deliver your purchase.
Before submitting your order, you should check:
- the products selected;
- size and colour;
- quantities;
- delivery address;
- billing information;
- delivery method;
- total price.
The checkout process must make clear that completing the order creates an obligation to pay. UK online-selling rules also require key information, including price and delivery information, to be displayed before an order is placed. GOV.UK
8. Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation.
An automated order confirmation confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
A contract between you and GymSilk is normally formed when:
- we send confirmation that your order has been accepted or dispatched; or
- we otherwise clearly confirm acceptance.
If we are unable to accept an order, we will notify you and refund any amount already paid for the affected item.
9. Reasons We May Be Unable to Accept an Order
We may be unable to accept or fulfil an order where, for example:
- a product is unavailable;
- payment is not authorised;
- delivery is not available to the address provided;
- there is an obvious pricing or description error;
- the order appears fraudulent or abusive;
- fulfilment is prevented by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Any cancellation will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
10. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payment methods may change from time to time.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.
We do not normally store full payment card details.
11. Promotional Codes and Discounts
Promotional codes may be subject to specific conditions.
Unless stated otherwise:
- codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
- codes may not be combined with other promotions;
- codes must be entered before completing checkout;
- expired codes cannot be applied retrospectively.
We may cancel or restrict a promotion where there is misuse, fraud or an obvious technical error.
This does not affect orders already validly completed unless permitted by law.
12. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped in accordance with our Shipping Policy.
For UK orders, our current standard delivery estimate is generally:
5–7 business days after dispatch.
Order processing is normally:
24–48 business hours.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, UK distance-selling rules generally require goods to be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days. GOV.UK
Delivery times shown on the website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
13. Free Shipping
Eligible UK orders of £49 or more currently qualify for free standard shipping.
The qualifying value is determined after applicable discounts.
Alternative or premium shipping methods may remain chargeable.
We may change the free-shipping threshold for future orders.
Any change will not affect an order already completed under an earlier offer.
14. Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If you notice an error, contact us at hello@gymsilk.com as soon as possible.
We will try to help, but address changes may not be possible once an order has entered processing or been dispatched.
If an order is returned because of incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, we may offer:
- re-delivery subject to reasonable additional shipping costs; or
- a refund for the returned goods, less non-refundable shipping charges where legally permitted.
15. Risk and Ownership
Where GymSilk arranges delivery, responsibility for loss or damage generally remains with us until the goods are physically received by you or by a person you identified to receive them.
This is subject to any applicable legal exceptions.
16. Right to Cancel
For eligible distance purchases, UK consumers generally have the right to cancel within 14 days after the goods come into their physical possession, subject to legal exceptions. Législation du Royaume-Uni
If multiple items from one order are delivered separately, the cancellation period may run from receipt of the last item where applicable. Législation du Royaume-Uni
To exercise this right, contact us within the applicable cancellation period.
Full details are provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
17. Returning Goods After Cancellation
After validly notifying us of cancellation, you must return the goods within the legally applicable period.
For ordinary change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return postage unless we agree otherwise.
Returned products may be examined as they would be in a physical shop.
Where handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product, we may make a lawful deduction for loss in value. Législation du Royaume-Uni
18. Refunds
Refunds will be processed in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.
For qualifying cancellations, refunds are generally made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Applicable UK rules provide that reimbursement must normally be made within the required statutory period and allow the trader, for sales contracts, to wait until goods are returned or evidence of return is supplied where relevant. Législation du Royaume-Uni
19. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is:
- faulty;
- damaged;
- incorrect;
- materially different from its description,
please contact us at hello@gymsilk.com with your order number and relevant photographs where possible.
Your rights in relation to faulty or non-conforming goods are separate from the ordinary change-of-mind cancellation right.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
20. Size Exchanges
Where available, size exchanges may be offered subject to stock availability and the conditions in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
If the requested replacement size is unavailable, we may offer an alternative permitted by our policy, such as a refund.
21. Hygiene-Sensitive Products
Certain goods may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights where a legal hygiene exception applies, for example where a sealed hygiene-sensitive product has been unsealed after delivery.
Where such an exception applies, it will be identified where reasonably possible on the product page.
Faulty goods remain subject to applicable consumer rights.
22. International Orders
Where international shipping is made available, additional local laws, customs requirements and charges may apply.
International customers are responsible for any applicable import duties, customs fees or local taxes unless checkout expressly states that they are included.
Availability of international shipping may be changed or expanded over time.
23. Customs Delays
We are not responsible for customs processing times that are outside our reasonable control.
However, nothing in this clause removes any legal responsibility that GymSilk has for delivery of the order.
24. Website Availability
We aim to keep gymsilk.com available and accurate.
However, we do not guarantee that the website will always be:
- uninterrupted;
- completely error-free;
- available at all times;
- free from temporary technical problems.
We may update, suspend or modify parts of the website where reasonably necessary.
25. Website Content
Content on gymsilk.com is provided for general information about our products and services.
We may update product descriptions, images, prices or other website content.
We are not responsible for minor errors that do not materially affect the product or customer’s legal rights.
26. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content on gymsilk.com is owned by or licensed to Studio Evo Ltd.
This includes, where applicable:
- the GymSilk name;
- logos;
- text;
- photographs;
- graphics;
- videos;
- product imagery;
- website design;
- branding materials.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You must not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify or commercially exploit our content without permission, except where permitted by law.
27. Reviews and User Content
If you submit a review, image, comment or other content to GymSilk, you confirm that:
- the content is genuinely your own or you have permission to use it;
- it does not infringe another person’s rights;
- it is not unlawful or knowingly misleading.
We may moderate or remove content that breaches these requirements.
We will not knowingly create or display fake consumer reviews.
28. Fraud and Abuse
We may take reasonable action where we identify suspected:
- payment fraud;
- chargeback abuse;
- return fraud;
- misuse of promotional codes;
- false claims;
- unauthorised account activity.
This may include requesting additional verification, restricting an account or declining an order where reasonably justified.
Nothing in this section allows us to deny legitimate consumer rights.
29. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, nothing excludes or limits liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of statutory consumer rights;
- any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
For losses that may lawfully be limited, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, these Terms are not intended to exclude rights or remedies provided by mandatory consumer law.
30. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as:
- severe weather;
- natural disasters;
- strikes;
- major transport disruption;
- government action;
- customs disruption;
- major network or infrastructure failures.
Where such an event affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and communicate with you where appropriate.
Your mandatory rights remain unaffected.
31. Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using the website, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed where necessary to operate the store, fulfil orders and comply with applicable law.
Marketing communications are handled separately in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable electronic marketing rules.
32. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes will apply to future use of the website and future orders from the date the updated Terms are published.
The Terms applicable to an existing order will generally be those in effect when the order was placed, subject to any mandatory legal requirements.
33. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
34. No Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.
35. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your country of residence.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of such mandatory protections.
36. Disputes
We encourage customers to contact us first so that we can try to resolve any concern directly.
Contact:
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be dealt with by the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law.
We do not intend this clause to prevent consumers from relying on any mandatory rules that allow proceedings to be brought in another competent court.
